Job Description

Our Client in the IT industry is seeking to hire a Sales Executive who will be responsible for the performance of sales activities, generation of  Revenue in the assigned accounts and market area/segment, and work towards achievement of growth and profitability of Digital  Revenue against set targets within the assigned accounts and market area/segment. Our  is rolling out a number of EdTech products targeting Private/International Schools, students and parents. The Educational Sales Executive will provide market trends and feedback into the business to help shape the future market direction of our EdTech sub-vertical development.

  • Roles & Responsibilities
  • Understands new trends and customer segments to identify new market opportunities to drive
    growth and expand the market share for our products
  • Expansion of product usage, adoption at schools (Primary, Secondary, Home Schooling
    Centers), Polytechnics, Universities, International School, etc).
  • Plan, coordinate and execute activities for education sector (e.g. Workshop), work closely
    with school agencies, dealers or teachers to increase the usage of product.
  • Contact and build network with educational authorities (Associations, Agencies & Institutions)
  •  Conduct market research and monitor competitor activities in Education Sector
  • Participation of Educational conferences, Trade shows, Road show events.
  • Develop business opportunities for other new products
  • Conduct products training to distributor/dealers.
  • Plan and execute effective promotions activities for products with the allocated budget.
  • Generate and submit monthly reports.
    Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, technology, or relevant field of study preferred.
  • 3-5 years relevant experience working in education marketing, business, technology industry.
  • Good knowledge of Kenya’s Education market scene.
  • Track record on sales and marketing with schools.
  •  Excellent communication, customer service and organizational skills.
  • Competent presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Passion and enthusiasm and confidence.
    Compensation & Benefits
  • Compensation is commission-based with bonuses and contests to reward outstanding
    performance and sales.
  • Offer Letter for 3 month probationary period employment contract.

  • Potential and existing customer relationships are maintained and improved through exceptional customer service.
    This position is based in Nairobi (targeting: Ngong, Kilimani, Lavington, Westlands, Muthaiga, Kitisuru, Spring Valley  and Langata areas).
