Job Description
Location: Naivasha, Kenya
Salary: Ksh20,000 – Ksh30,000
Job Title: French Teacher (Whole School)
Job Purpose
To deliver high-quality French lessons that inspire learners, foster excellence, and promote a love for language, while contributing to the holistic development of students.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and well-structured French lessons that enable learners at different levels to make significant progress.
- Monitor, assess, and record student performance, providing constructive feedback and support for improvement.
- Plan and implement an accessible, challenging, and differentiated curriculum to meet diverse learning needs.
- Maintain a stimulating and supportive classroom environment with effective learning resources.
- Ensure student well-being by promoting a safe, inclusive, and compassionate learning atmosphere.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding learner progress and development.
- Actively contribute to co-curricular activities, school events, and community engagement programmes.
- Collaborate with colleagues in curriculum development, school initiatives, and professional learning.
- Stay updated with current pedagogical and curriculum trends, integrating ICT into teaching where appropriate.
- Uphold safeguarding standards and school policies at all times.

Qualifications
- A recognized teaching qualification in French.
- A Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Education (French) or related field.
- Registration with TSC (Teachers Service Commission) desirable.
- Proven experience teaching French in upper primary and/or secondary levels.
- Demonstrated success in teaching diverse learners with varied learning needs.
- Experience in private schools or international curriculum (Cambridge / British system) is an added advantage.
- Ability to teach an additional subject (e.g., Kiswahili, English, History, Geography) will be considered an asset.
