DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- To provide care to students and staff who need general treatment, emergency care due to injury or who present with an acute illness
- Understand each students medical background
- Administer medication and deliver health services as a licensed health care provider
- Assist in monitoring chronic medical conditions
- Coordinate care and student emergency action plans related to common ailments
- Administer first aid to students and Staffs
- Obtain parental consent for health services
- Develop an Individual Health Plan for children with chronic disease
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- 3 Plus years’ experience as a school nurse or pediatric nurse in a hospital
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
- Excellent communication skills, problem solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Good communication skills
- Ability and passion to deal with small children
- Dedication and excellence at work
- Mature and committed to duty
