Background / Rationale of the Project
| Pfizer Supply Chain would like to offer our Top University Graduates the opportunity to gain job experience through this internship. We are looking for Graduates with a bachelor’s degree in either Supply Chain, Logistics, or finance with an interest in Project Management, Supply Chain, Transport and Logistics. |
Eligibility Criteria
| Candidates should meet the below criteria:
· Undergraduate student seeking job experience · Strong communication, organizational & interpersonal skills · Proactive, energetic and result-oriented · Youth, recent graduates under the age of 25 · Nairobi based · Kenya citizens |
Key Deliverables/Development areas
| § Management of the end to end import permit process
§ Ensure permits are applied for and sent to the ELC. § Monitor and track product shipping schedule on the shipment tracker to ensure on time delivery at the Logistics Service Provider (LSP). § Processing of purchase orders to support business processes § Facilitate the customer orders reconciliation process. § Develop an online portal for the storing of all shipping documents and customer orders. § Weekly preparation of the QA location report and close follow up on local release lead-times for urgent and critical shipments. § Data gathering to support end to end analysis of in market Supply Chain process. § Master data § Understanding the Supply Chain Metrics § Review of sales pace and proactive flag of overselling products § Assist with the resolution of Inter Company Operations queries § Develop a process for the reconciliation and tracking of the Logistics Service Provider distribution costs. § Facilitate the development of a budget tracker for all logistics costs for Kenya; Freight costs, LSP importation, storage and demurrage costs. |
