Looking to hire a Video on Demand platforms expert to work in Mogadishu

Monthly Salary: 1500 USD plus commissions

Air ticket and accomodation provided.

Responsibilities

1. Strategic Planning and Development:

•Develop and implement long-term strategies to grow the VOD service.

•Identify market trends and opportunities to innovate and stay competitive.

•Set goals and objectives for the service in alignment with the overall business strategy.

2.Content Acquisition and Management:

•Negotiate and secure content deals with studios, distributors, and independent creators.

•Oversee the curation and management of the content library.

•Ensure a diverse and appealing content mix to attract and retain subscribers.

3.Operational Oversight:

•Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring the platform runs smoothly.

•Coordinate with technology teams to maintain and enhance the platform’s performance.

•Implement and oversee processes for content ingestion, encoding, and delivery.

4.Marketing and Subscriber Growth:

•Develop and execute marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and subscriber growth.

•Work with marketing teams to plan and implement advertising, promotions, and customer engagement campaigns.

•Analyze subscriber data to optimize marketing efforts and improve user acquisition and retention.

6.Customer Experience and Support:

•Ensure a high-quality user experience across all devices and platforms.

•Oversee customer support operations to resolve subscriber issues promptly.

•Use customer feedback to make continuous improvements to the service.

7.Team Leadership and Development:

•Lead and manage a diverse team of professionals across various functions.

•Foster a positive and productive work environment.

•Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team skills and performance.

8.Compliance and Risk Management:

•Ensure the VOD service complies with relevant laws, regulations, and licensing agreements.

•Implement measures to protect intellectual property and user data.

•Identify and mitigate risks associated with content, technology, and market dynamics.

9.Partnership and Relationship Management:

•Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including content providers, technology partners, and advertisers.

•Collaborate with other departments and external partners to drive service growth and innovation.
