Position: Business Development Representative, full-time
Location: Nairobi

About the role
Innovative Apps is looking for a Business Development Representative that is eager and excited to kick off their sales career and join our team. The ideal candidate will have an energetic, can-do attitude and be comfortable working in a metrics-driven environment.

Responsibilities
• Prospecting, screening and qualifying potential businesses through cold calling, emailing & approaching clients on LinkedIn or other social platforms
• Drive sales growth and pipeline by setting up qualified opportunities in ERP solutions.
• Be a subject matter expert on sales of ERP solutions.
• Produce creative strategies for targeting decision-makers at prospect accounts in order to book sales appointments and influence company revenue
• Ability to think outside the box to generate your own leads
• Speaking directly with end customers/prospects and articulating the benefits of our offered ERP solutions
• Submit weekly reports on generated leads and opportunities including next steps to nurture the same.
• Achieve quarterly and yearly sales objectives.

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Communication, or a related field
• 1-2 years of experience in a sales of ERP solutions with proven results is a must.
• Experience with outreach such as cold calling and emailing
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Strong time management and organization skills
• Ability to work without minimal supervision.
• Competency in Microsoft applications.
• Understanding of and experience with sales processes
