As they continue to grow, they are looking for a passionate Digital Marketing Specialist to join their team and help them take their company to the next level.
As a Digital Marketing Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in driving our client’s digital marketing efforts to reach a wider audience, increase engagement, and stay ahead of the curve in terms of both African and global media trends. You will utilize your skills in WordPress, graphic design, and an in-depth understanding of media tools to create and implement effective digital marketing strategies.
1.Digital Strategy Development: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop comprehensive digital marketing strategies that align with our company’s goals and objectives.
2. Website Management: Maintain and update our WordPress website, ensuring it is user-friendly, visually appealing, and optimized for SEO.
3.Content Creation: Design visually appealing and engaging graphics, videos, and other multimedia content for use on our website, social media platforms, and other digital channels.
4.Social Media Management: Manage and grow our social media presence across various platforms, including content scheduling, community engagement, and monitoring trends.
5.Email Marketing: Create and manage email marketing campaigns to nurture leads, promote content, and engage with our subscribers.
6. Analytics and Reporting: Monitor the performance of digital marketing campaigns using analytics tools and provide regular reports with insights and recommendations for improvement.
7. Stay Informed: Stay up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends, African media landscape, and global industry developments to ensure our strategies remain cutting-edge.
8. Collaboration: Work closely with the content creators, journalists, and editorial team to align marketing efforts with the content production schedule.
9. Audience Research: Conduct research to better understand our target audience and tailor marketing strategies accordingly.
– Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing or Communications.
– Proven experience in digital marketing, preferably in the media industry.
– Proficiency in WordPress for website management.
– Strong graphic design skills, using tools like Adobe Creative Suite.
-Strong understanding of digital marketing platforms and tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEO tools, social media management tools).
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
– A deep understanding of African and global media trends.
– Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
– Creative thinking and a passion for storytelling.
