As a sales and marketing assistant you will play a major role in helping us to deliver to our customers with a thumbs-up and a smile. We are looking for a reliable Sales and Marketing assistant who is obsessed with customer service to assist us with the 4Ps of marketing. This role is for you if you are a self-starter, a team player, mentally mature, an excellent communicator and can work with near zero supervision. You should be willing to work as part of a wider team in order to ensure customers are satisfied.
Duties and responsibilities
Marketing strategy
- Assist to conceive, formulate marketing strategies by planning, developing and implementing effective marketing strategies
- Assist to plan, produce content and visual materials for marketing campaigns
- Organize and oversee advertising/communication campaigns (analogue, digital, print etc), exhibitions and promotional events.
- Conduct market research and analysis to evaluate trends, brand awareness etc
- Assist in fostering relationships with community organisers to ensure collaboration in promotional activities.
- Assist in the recruitment and management of brand influencers
Digital sales channels management
- Lead management of digital sales channels including online store and social media pages, whatsapp; ensuring the website and social media pages are kept up to date with relevant products, updated visuals, write-ups and banners
- Explore new customer sales channels and assist in building upon existing channels
- Process customer orders and communicate complete orders to delivery team in a timely manner
- Working closely with delivery team and other team members to ensure products arrive on time for marketing launches
Other duties
- Initiating, attending and leading frequent team meetings to ensure team goals are aligned
- Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the Company
Requirements
- Should have good understanding of market research techniques, data analysis and statistics methods
- Proven experience as a sales and marketing assistant or similar role.
- Proficient knowledge of suitable customer relationship management software
- Ability to communicate clearly in English
- Ability to keep clients and supervisor up-to-date at all times
- Interest in hiking, cycling and other outdoor sports
- A polite and professional demeanor
- Ability to remain calm in stressful situations
