Summary:
We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced female teacher specializing in the IGCSE system, particularly in English, Math, and Science, to provide personalized education and support to young children. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing children for their academic journey and assisting those who will be starting school in July 2024. This is a unique opportunity as the position includes accommodation and the possibility for tuition sessions during free time.
Responsibilities:
- Subject Expertise: Deliver high-quality education in English, Math, and Science following the IGCSE curriculum, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the subjects.
- Individualized Instruction: Tailor teaching methods to suit the individual learning needs of each child, fostering a positive and engaging learning environment.
- Curriculum Planning: Develop and implement lesson plans, educational activities, and assessments in line with the IGCSE system.
- Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess and track the academic progress of each child, providing constructive feedback to both parents and students.
- Tuition Sessions: Take advantage of free time to offer additional tuition sessions for extra income.
- Residential Role: Reside in the employer’s home, providing consistent support and guidance to the children.
Requirements:
- IGCSE Expertise: In-depth knowledge and experience in teaching the IGCSE curriculum, particularly in English, Math, and Science.
- Teaching Qualifications: A degree in Education or related field, along with relevant teaching certifications.
- Experience: Proven experience as a teacher, preferably with a focus on primary education.
- Residential Capability: Willingness to live in the employer’s home and actively engage with the children on a daily basis.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with both children and parents.
