Finance Manager

  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Work Location: Nairobi

  • Salary: Ksh. 280,000 – Ksh. 315,000
  1. Be accountable for Adjusted Revenue / Gross Profit trends based on a top-down approach, and drive a narrative on Cash App overall performance to the organization’s senior leadership.
  2. Create a top-down financial model to help articulate levers on Adjusted Revenue growth, and collaborate with key stakeholders to validate model output with a bottom-up forecast.
  3. Interacting on a regular basis with the Head of sales and marketing to understand product drivers, gross profit margins, and business trends as needed
  4. Work with Managing Director on ad hoc requests to inform organizations strategy and improve efficiency in order to help drive the business’s long-term trajectory.
  5. Drive key financial processes such as annual planning, quarterly forecasts, and three-year plans.
  6. Maintain and develop a model for forecasting Monthly Active Users, and assist in the development of frameworks to improve forecast accuracy.
  7. Interact with various teams as a Cash FP&A partner, including Corporate FP&A, Compliance, and the Business team.

Key Qualifications

  1. Over five (5) years of relevant professional experience, preferably in fintech or traditional banking
  2. Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics, a master’s degree will be an added advantage
  3. Must be a CPA-k
  4. Financial experience including familiarity with concepts of forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, or data interpretation and analysis
  5. Good proficiency with Analytics tools and data visualization tools
  6. Excellent verbal and written – identify and defend data-driven recommendations and a sense of business management
  7. Experience developing new ideas and solutions
  8. Solid experience in root cause analysis
  9. Work with peers and multiple levels of management.
