Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing compassionate and high-quality patient care within the specified department. The individual in this role will collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. The RN will also ensure the delivery of safe and efficient nursing care while adhering to established policies, procedures, and standards.

 

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Current and valid Nursing License
  • Atleast one year of current and consistent hospital experience
  • Availability to work in UAE or US
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
  • Proficient in using electronic health record systems

 

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Assessment:

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical, psychological, and social dimensions.
  • Develop and update individualized care plans based on assessment findings.
  • Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the healthcare team.

Clinical Care:

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Perform and document nursing interventions.
  • Monitor vital signs and respond to patient needs promptly.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.

Patient Education:

  • Educate patients and their families about their medical conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care.
  • Provide information on medications, procedures, and self-care.

Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Document all nursing interventions, medications administered, and other relevant information.

Quality Improvement:

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the enhancement of patient care outcomes.
  • Follow infection control and safety protocols.

Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and support staff.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.

Compliance:

  • Adhere to all relevant regulations, standards, and policies.
  • Participate in continuing education and training to maintain licensure and stay current with best practices.

Emergency Response:

  • Respond to emergencies and provide immediate care as needed.
  • Maintain composure in high-stress situations.
