Location: Nairobi
Hybrid Work Setup
Salary: 30k-40k USD per annum
What does the job involve
- Propose detailed marketing campaign plans, messaging strategies, competitive positioning and go-to-market approaches that appeal to potential and existing customers
- Bring the voice of the user and a nuanced understanding of the payment/mobile money sector to all aspects of the product lifecycle through insightful market, landscape, and user research
- Develop narratives, collateral, events aimed at increasing our engagement with agents and measure the impact of our programs.
- Launch new products and features with compelling creative ideas that grow adoption and usage.
- Drive coordination and active communication with the product and marketing team to ensure all required communications materials are produced within agreed timelines.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- 5+ years experience in either B2B or B2C marketing in a fast paced environment.
- A strong track record in offline marketing and understanding of channels to drive acquisition
- Extensive experience setting strategic direction and project managing go-to-market campaigns that require input and execution from various cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of markets and competitive landscape in the fin-tech or payments industry
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and distill data into actionable insights and to inform campaign strategy and product development. Experience in market research is a plus.
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills: you are a charismatic, people-person that has the ability to talk to anyone and work in an ever-changing startup environment
